The Kalshi promo code BEST gets new users a $55 bonus. Sign up, verify your identity, and trade at least $25 in your first 7 days. The $55 lands in your account whether your trades win or lose.
The timing works well for fight fans. UFC 333 on October 24 has two title fights, Alexander Volkanovski vs. Movsar Evloev and Merab Dvalishvili vs. Petr Yan, and Kalshi already has fight-winner contracts on the whole card. Trade $25 across a few UFC 333 fights and your bonus is ready before UFC 334 on November 14. You can compare Kalshi's prices with the sportsbooks on our Kalshi UFC odds page.
Unlike a sportsbook bonus, this is trading credit on a CFTC-regulated exchange. You buy Yes or No contracts on outcomes, and the bonus works the same way. It is good on any market, but this page focuses on what it is worth to an MMA bettor: where Kalshi prices beat the sportsbooks, which UFC markets you can trade, and the fine print.
Every Kalshi promo code you will see advertised right now unlocks the same $55. BEST is ours, and using it supports BestFightOdds at no cost to you.
Is Kalshi legal?
Kalshi is a Designated Contract Market regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). That lets it operate nationwide, including in states without legal sports betting such as California and Texas. You only need to be 18.
Sports contracts are another matter. As of October 2026, court orders or state action have limited Kalshi's sports markets in Michigan, Nevada, Washington, and Massachusetts. Other markets like economics and politics remain available there. Several other states are in active litigation with Kalshi, so the list can change quickly. The Kalshi app shows exactly what is available where you are.

Here is what the Kalshi welcome offer includes:
Is there a Kalshi bonus for existing users?
The welcome bonus is a one-time perk, but Kalshi has a few ongoing extras. The refer-a-friend program pays $25 to you and your friend when they sign up and trade $25, up to a cap. Kalshi also pays a variable 3.50% APY on cash balances that average $250 or more, which no traditional sportsbook offers.
For MMA bettors, the bigger long-term value is pricing. On the UFC 333 card we tracked, Kalshi's built-in margin averaged about 4%, against roughly 6% at FanDuel. That saves you money on every trade, not just the first one.
Kalshi review
Kalshi is a CFTC-regulated prediction market that lets you trade on the outcome of real-world events, including MMA fights, elections, inflation data, and much more. It is a New York-based company regulated at the federal level by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, making it available nationwide.
Functionally, Kalshi is similar to a sportsbook: you can earn a profit by making predictions on upcoming fights. However, it is completely different from a legal standpoint. You do not place wagers against the house. Instead, you trade contracts with other users, and Kalshi takes a small fee for hosting the trades.
If you think a fighter will win, you buy yes contracts. If not, buy no contracts. It is similar to making yes/no predictions on a futures exchange, just applied to sporting events instead of commodities.

User experience & mobile app
Kalshi offers a clean, intuitive interface for trading event contracts. The platform is available on web and mobile, with a straightforward layout that displays contract prices, order books, and your portfolio at a glance. The trading slip is simple to use. Tap the Yes or No button on any contract, enter your dollar amount, and the slip calculates your potential payout instantly. You can also set limit orders to buy or sell at specific prices.Key features
Kalshi contracts are priced in probabilities. If a fighter wins, each contract settles at $1. If they lose, it settles at $0. For example, if a fighter is priced at $0.67, traders give them a 67% chance of winning.
To trade, tap the green Yes button at the displayed price. Enter your dollar amount and the slip shows how many contracts you are buying and your potential payout.
This chart shows you how some of the most common Kalshi prices translate to traditional odds:
| Kalshi price | Implied probability | Moneyline equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| $0.80 | 80% | -400 |
| $0.67 | 67% | -203 |
| $0.60 | 60% | -150 |
| $0.50 | 50% | +100 |
| $0.40 | 40% | +150 |
| $0.30 | 30% | +233 |
| $0.20 | 20% | +400 |

These are Kalshi prices on the UFC 333 card, converted to moneyline odds, next to FanDuel and Caesars. Data comes from the BestFightOdds odds feed on October 19, 2026. “Margin” is the built-in edge on both sides combined; lower is better for you.
| Fight | Kalshi | FanDuel | Caesars |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dvalishvili to beat Yan | +140 | +142 | +145 |
| Yan to beat Dvalishvili | -168 | -184 | -175 |

| Aliev to beat Dawson | +109 | +104 | +110 |
| Margin: | 3.6% | 5.9% | 4.1% |
Kalshi had the lowest or near-lowest margin on every fight, and it beat FanDuel on all of them. It is not “zero juice”: the gap between the Yes and No prices works like a spread. Kalshi’s trading fee comes on top, but the prices are usually still better than the sportsbooks’. Lines move, so check the current numbers on our live Kalshi UFC odds page before you trade.

MMA/UFC betting markets
Kalshi lists fight-winner contracts on every UFC card, numbered events and Fight Nights alike. As of October 19, the whole UFC 333 card is open for trading. Kalshi has also listed method of victory, round of finish, and go-the-distance markets for select fights, along with title-holder futures for most UFC divisions. Those are less consistent than fight-winner markets, so do not count on them for every bout.
Combos let you bundle several contracts into one position, similar to a parlay. Combos pay only if every leg wins, and once filled they cannot be cancelled.
Kalshi has also offered contracts on Dana White’s Contender Series and on major boxing fights. If you want deep MMA props such as rounds over/under or exact round, a traditional sportsbook still has more options. You can compare both on our Kalshi UFC odds page, which shows live Kalshi prices next to the best sportsbook line for every upcoming fight.
Live betting & bet limits
One key advantage of Kalshi over sportsbooks is the ability to sell your contracts before an event finishes. For example, if you buy yes contracts at $0.55 on a fighter and they dominate the first round, you might be able to sell your contracts at $0.78, locking in a 41.8% profit without waiting for the final result.
This is similar to cashing out at a sportsbook, but you will generally get much better terms when selling contracts on an exchange compared to sportsbook cash-out offers.
Payment methods
Kalshi supports the following deposit and withdrawal methods:
